The candidate shall develop, manage, update, and maintain KM systems (e.g., SharePoint sites,
databases, and internal websites) that can serve as repositories for storing, sharing, and utilizing
data. The candidate shall assist the Government by advising how best to utilize KM tools. The
KM systems will enhance information sharing of analysis, assessments, legislative materials,
policies, strategies, budget materials, IT information, and other relevant documents. The
candidate shall train system users, which may include IC partners, providing user guides as
needed. The candidate shall integrate information with other databases, as required. When
possible, the candidate shall utilize automated tools and visualizations to facilitate users’ access
and ability to analyze information holdings.
The candidate shall employ specific tools for unique office needs, as required, which may include
interoperability with or ability to share information with other IC or state and local partners.
The candidate shall create and maintain virtual communities of interest to enable ODNI and its
partners to collaborate, store, search, and discover information; share lessons learned and best
practices; and report and track metrics to assess progress against various programs, policies, and
strategies. The candidate shall develop simulations and exercises to test database readiness and
communication channels. The candidate shall continuously identify opportunities to improve
exchanges of information across systems as well as the Government and private sectors.
The candidate shall maintain and update an ODNI-wide repository for instructions, Internal
Process Documents (IPDs), and policy memorandum. The candidate shall build data repositories
for a variety of mission needs that easily and automatically generate a variety of visualizations to
support analysis, reporting, and briefings.
